Chive tends to take everything in her stride, accepting what
people do without verbally questioning it. Inside of her head is a whole new
story. She calls out the Capitol for their lies, and she hates the Hunger Games
with a passion. But she daren’t speak. She daren’t say a thing, for her family
will pay the price. If she even attempts to speak out against the atrocity that
is the Hunger Games, she’ll lose everything that she loves in this world. Even
though she’s screaming on the inside, Chive knows that she must stay silent, and obey.
